Wellness Expo for the Modern Woman on September 8
BRADENTON, FL — On Sunday, September 8 from 2 to 4 p.m., every woman in Manatee County and beyond is invited to a free wellness expo called Modern Woman hosted at Manatee Gynecology’s office to celebrate her mind, body and more. Enjoy nutritious snacks and refreshments sponsored by Bowled Life and Florida Blue at this social gathering featuring women-led partners, inspiring workshops, prizes and so much more. In attendance will be a handful of local female medical providers and women-led businesses of all sizes who are excited to support other women, such as Dr. Kinga Porter from Whole Health Lakewood Ranch, Fitness Instructor & Owner Tracy Morgan of Bradenton’s Sol Studio of Life & Movement, and national vendors like Chantecaille botanical beauty products. Plus, the event will offer a platform for the soon-to-launch local non-profit, My Breast Friends 941, led by Susan Harrigan. The concept for the event came from Dr. Kinnari Desai at Manatee Gynecology who hopes to bring women of all backgrounds together to experience a new atmosphere for female care and empowerment. She explained, “We are a practice for women, by women, so we set out to create a community-driven event that embodies this principle.” On this day only, the women’s health office will be introducing their new non-surgical aesthetic services (Botox, etc.) with complimentary consultations, plus previewing their coming-soon spa.
