We are a growing, patient-focused medical practice looking for a dedicated and motivated X-ray/DEXA Technologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is interested in expanding their skills by learning mammography in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Overview:

As an X-ray/DEXA Technologist, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients. In addition to your responsibilities with DEXA, we are offering the unique opportunity for the right candidate to be trained in mammography by Hologic, a global champion of women's health. Responsibilities:

• Perform DEXA imaging procedures with precision and care.

• Assist in ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and follow safety protocols.

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide comfort and support.

• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.

• Document patient information and imaging results according to protocols.

• Learn and develop proficiency in mammography, with training and mentorship.
  
  Qualifications:

• Current certification as an X-ray Tech.

• Ability to learn to perform DEXA exams accurately and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail, patient-focused, and compassionate demeanor.

• Willingness to learn and train in mammography procedures (prior mammography experience is not required).

• ARRT certification required; Mammography certification (or willingness to obtain) a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
